Slowly I am getting over my run-in with COVID six weeks ago and my cough is now less and energy levels seem to be getting back up – but I am still not 100% fit. What is good is I am getting the urge to get back out with he camera, so I manage to drag myself out for a bit of infrared photography in my local area.
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much, it was more just to get out with the camera and exercise the photography muscles, but in the end I feel I have produced one of my favourite images of the year so far 🙂
The conditions were perfect for infrared, plenty of bright sunlight on the subject and a cloudscape that was continually changing due to strong winds. After having a pleasant couple of hours standing in a field, I felt the clouds were perfectly formed to balance the tree. Now I must really drag myself out somewhere else 🙂
